KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu District Court has granted an extension of 5 days for the investigation time limit of medical entrepreneur Durga Prasai.
The court granted the order on Friday, giving more time for the investigation that is still in progress.
Earlier on November 24, the court had granted permission to remand Prasai for five days.
Prasai was arrested by the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) at his residence in Bhaktapur last Tuesday after a 'controversial statement' against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. He is also being investigated for money laundering, including cybercrime.
