KATHMANDU: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has reported that the country is currently under the general influence of westerly winds, with partly cloudy weather in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, while the rest of the country will experience fair weather.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather will remain partly cloudy in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces this afternoon, with fair weather in the rest of the country.
At night, the weather will continue to be partly cloudy in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
Light snowfall is likely at one or two places in the hilly and mountainous areas of Gandaki Province.
The Department has advised adopting precautionary measures, as the weather may temporarily impact agriculture, health, tourism, mountaineering, as well as road and air transport.
