KATHMANDU: Dr. Bishwo Paudel has resigned from the Nepal Rastra Bank Governor Recommendation Committee.

He submitted his resignation to the committee’s coordinator and Finance Minister, Bishnu Paudel. An agreement had been reached between the ruling Nepali Congress and CPN-UML to appoint him as the Governor.

The committee was coordinated by Bishnu Paudel, with former Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari and Bishwo Paudel as members. A new member will now be appointed to replace Paudel.
