KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel is scheduled to respond to lawmakers’ queries on the ‘Principles and Priorities of the Appropriation Bill (excluding tax proposals)’ during today’s meeting of the House of Representatives.

The meeting is set to take place at 11:00 a.m. at the Parliament Building in New Baneshwor.

Discussions on the bill for the fiscal year 2082/83, which have been ongoing, will conclude today.

Following the lawmakers’ deliberations, Finance Minister Poudel is expected to respond, according to Padya Prasad Pandey, General Secretary of the Federal Parliament Secretariat.

The Business Advisory Committee, chaired by Speaker Devraj Ghimire, had allocated time for the discussion based on party representation.
