Foreign currency rates see upward trend

KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has published the exchange rates for foreign currencies today (Tuesday).

The exchange rates for all foreign currencies, including the US dollar, Australian dollar, pound, euro, and dinar, have increased.

According to the exchange rates published by the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar today is 139.67 rupees, while the selling rate is 140.27 rupees.

Yesterday, the buying rate for one US dollar was 139.59 rupees, and the selling rate was 140.19 rupees.

On this same day, Magh 25, the buying rate for one US dollar was 139.83 rupees, and the selling rate was 140.43 rupees. This was the highest-ever price for the US dollar in the Nepali market.

Similarly, today, the buying rate for one euro is 144.33 rupees, and the selling rate is 144.95 rupees. Yesterday, the buying rate for one euro was 144.16 rupees, and the selling rate was 144.78 rupees.

The buying rate for one British pound today is 173.41 rupees, and the selling rate is 174.15 rupees. Yesterday, the buying rate was 173.24 rupees, and the selling rate was 173.98 rupees.

For the Australian dollar, today’s buying rate is 87.74 rupees, and the selling rate is 88.12 rupees. Yesterday, the buying rate was 87.54 rupees, and the selling rate was 87.92 rupees.

For the Kuwaiti dinar, the buying rate today is 452.33 rupees, and the selling rate is 454.27 rupees. Yesterday, the buying rate was 452.05 rupees, and the selling rate was 454 rupees.

Additionally, for the Bahraini dinar, today’s buying rate is 370.53 rupees, and the selling rate is 372.11 rupees. Yesterday, the buying rate was 370.27 rupees, and the selling rate was 371.86 rupees.
