Gold price falls by Rs 2,700 per tola today

KATHMANDU: Gold prices, which saw a slight uptick on Friday, experienced a significant drop today, with silver also becoming more affordable.

Gold, which had increased by four hundred rupees per tola on Friday, has fallen sharply by two thousand seven hundred rupees per tola today, according to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Federation.

Currently, the price of gold stands at one lakh sixty-seven thousand five hundred rupees per tola.

Last Friday, it was priced at one lakh seventy thousand two hundred rupees per tola.

The previous Thursday, gold had increased by two thousand three hundred rupees per tola, followed by a modest rise of just four hundred rupees on Friday.

On Wednesday, gold prices had also declined by two thousand seven hundred rupees per tola.

In addition, silver prices have decreased by fifteen rupees per tola today.

Silver is now being traded at one thousand nine hundred fifty-five rupees per tola, down from one thousand nine hundred seventy rupees last Friday.
