KATHMANDU: Gold prices, which surged by Rs 2,200 per tola yesterday (Wednesday), have seen another notable rise today.

The price has increased by Rs 1,600 per tola today, while silver has also become more costly.

As reported by the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Federation, the price of gold has now reached Rs 168,500 per tola. Yesterday, it was Rs 166,900 per tola.

After rising by Rs 1,900 per tola last Tuesday and Rs 2,200 per tola on Wednesday, the price of gold has gone up by Rs 1,600 today.

Following two days of price stability earlier this week, gold prices have been climbing for the past three days.

Silver prices have also risen by Rs 5 per tola today, reaching Rs 1,980 per tola, compared to Rs 1,975 per tola yesterday.
