KATHMANDU: The price of gold increased by Rs 600 per tola today (Tuesday).
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers, the price, which increased last Sunday and Monday, has continued to rise today.
Gold price increased by Rs 600 per tola today, reaching Rs 170,200 per tola.
After a slight dip last Friday, the price of gold has been steadily climbing for three days. Yesterday (Monday), the price rose by Rs 1,400 per tola.
On Sunday, gold was bought and sold at 168,200 rupees. Over the past three days, the price of gold has surged by 5,700 rupees, though it had dropped by 400 rupees per tola on Friday.
The price of silver has decreased by 30 rupees per tola today, and it is currently being traded at 1,945 rupees per tola. Yesterday, the price stood at 1,975 rupees per tola.
