Gold prices drop in Nepali market

KATHMANDU: The price of gold and silver has decreased in the Nepali market on Monday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmarked gold has been fixed at NPR 188,300 per tola. On Sunday, the price of gold was NPR 189,700 per tola, indicating a decline of NPR 1,400 per tola today.

Similarly, the price of silver has also slightly dropped. On Sunday, the price of silver was NPR 1,990 per tola, whereas on Monday it has dropped to NPR 1,970 per tola.
