JANAKPUR: Madhesh Province has announced a budget of Rs 46.58 billion for the fiscal year 2025/26, marking a 6.13% increase from the previous year’s allocation.

Finance Minister Sunil Kumar Yadav stated that Rs 16.72 billion (35.89%) has been earmarked for recurrent expenditure, while a larger share of Rs 30.26 billion (64.11%) has been allocated for capital expenditure.
