Nepal Rastra Bank announces today’s foreign exchange rates

KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the foreign currency exchange rates for Monday. As per the latest update, one US dollar is being bought at NPR 136.43 and sold at NPR 137.03.

The buying rate for the euro is NPR 155.05, while the selling rate is NPR 155.73. For the British pound, the rates are NPR 181.66 for buying and NPR 182.46 for selling. The Swiss franc is being traded at NPR 164.80 on the buying side and NPR 165.53 on the selling side.

The Australian dollar is valued at NPR 87.26 for buying and NPR 87.64 for selling, while the Canadian dollar stands at NPR 98.46 and NPR 98.89 respectively. The Singapore dollar is priced at NPR 103.73 for buying and NPR 104.19 for selling.

Other currencies have also been updated. The rate for 10 Japanese yen is NPR 9.49 for buying and NPR 9.54 for selling. One Chinese yuan is exchanged at NPR 18.72 (buying) and NPR 18.80 (selling).

The Saudi riyal stands at NPR 36.37 for buying and NPR 36.53 for selling, while the Qatari riyal is at NPR 37.42 and NPR 37.59 respectively.

Similarly, one Thai baht is valued at NPR 4.07 for buying and NPR 4.08 for selling. The UAE dirham is being exchanged at NPR 37.14 and NPR 37.31, and the Malaysian ringgit at NPR 31.19 (buying) and NPR 31.33 (selling).

For 100 South Korean won, the rates are NPR 9.49 and NPR 9.53, while the Swedish krona is NPR 14.09 for buying and NPR 14.15 for selling. The Danish krone is exchanged at NPR 20.77 and NPR 20.86 respectively.

The Hong Kong dollar stands at NPR 17.59 (buying) and NPR 17.66 (selling), while the Kuwaiti dinar is traded at NPR 444.90 and NPR 446.86.

The Bahraini dinar is priced at NPR 361.88 for buying and NPR 363.47 for selling. The Omani rial has been set at NPR 354.82 and NPR 356.38 respectively.

As for the Indian currency, 100 Indian rupees are being bought at NPR 160.00 and sold at NPR 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates may be adjusted at any time depending on market fluctuations.

It also noted that commercial banks may set slightly different rates based on real-time trading. The most current rates can be accessed through the central bank’s website.
