Nepal Rastra Bank publishes foreign exchange rates for today

KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the official foreign currency exchange rates for today, setting the buying rate of one US dollar at NPR 136.43 and the selling rate at NPR 137.03.

The euro has been valued at NPR 155.05 for buying and NPR 155.73 for selling, while the British pound is priced at NPR 181.64 and NPR 182.44, respectively. Similarly, the Swiss franc stands at NPR 164.67 for buying and NPR 165.40 for selling.

The Australian dollar has been fixed at NPR 87.07 (buying) and NPR 87.45 (selling), and the Canadian dollar at NPR 98.28 and NPR 98.71. The Singapore dollar’s buying rate is NPR 103.81, with the selling rate at NPR 104.26.

Among other currencies, 10 Japanese yen are exchanged at NPR 9.52 for buying and NPR 9.56 for selling.

The Chinese yuan is valued at NPR 18.72 and NPR 18.80, the Saudi riyal at NPR 36.37 and NPR 36.53, and the Qatari riyal at NPR 37.43 and NPR 37.59.

The Thai baht is trading at NPR 4.07 and NPR 4.09, and the UAE dirham at NPR 37.14 and NPR 37.31. The Malaysian ringgit’s exchange rate has been fixed at NPR 31.19 for buying and NPR 31.33 for selling.

Likewise, 100 South Korean won are priced at NPR 9.48 and NPR 9.52, while the Swedish and Danish kronors are valued at NPR 14.08 and NPR 14.14, and NPR 20.77 and NPR 20.86, respectively.

The Hong Kong dollar is set at NPR 17.59 (buying) and NPR 17.67 (selling), the Kuwaiti dinar at NPR 444.93 and NPR 446.89, the Bahraini dinar at NPR 361.95 and NPR 363.54, and the Omani rial at NPR 354.34 and NPR 355.90. Meanwhile, 100 Indian rupees are exchanged at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.

These rates are subject to change based on market conditions, according to NRB.
