KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the official foreign exchange rates for Friday. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at NPR 136.67 and the selling rate at NPR 137.27.
The buying rate for one Euro is NPR 158.45 and the selling rate is NPR 159.14. Similarly, the buying rate for one British Pound Sterling is NPR 185.67 and the selling rate is NPR 186.48. The buying rate for one Swiss Franc is NPR 168.25 and the selling rate is NPR 168.99.
The Australian Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 89.03 and a selling rate of NPR 89.42. The Canadian Dollar’s buying rate is NPR100.26 and the selling rate is NPR 100.70. The Singapore Dollar is being traded at NPR106.87 for buying and NPR 107.33for selling.
Likewise, the buying rate for 10 Japanese Yen is NPR9.52 and the selling rate is NPR 9.56. One Chinese Yuan is being bought at NPR 19.05 and sold at NPR 19.13. The Saudi Arabian Riyal has a buying rate of NPR 36.43 and a selling rate of NPR 36.59, while the Qatari Riyal is being traded at NPR 37.50 for buying and NPR 37.66 for selling.
According to the central bank, one Thai Baht is being bought at NPR 4.22 and sold at NPR 4.23. The buying rate for one UAE Dirham is NPR 37.21and the selling rate is NPR 37.38. The Malaysian Ringgit is set at NPR 32.38 for buying and NPR 32.42 for selling. The South Korean Won (per 100 units) is being traded at NPR 10.10 for buying and NPR 10.14 for selling. The Swedish Krona has a buying rate of NPR 14.50 and a selling rate of NPR 14.56, while the Danish Krone is being bought at NPR 21.24 and sold at NPR 21.23.
The Hong Kong Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 17.41 and a selling rate of NPR 17.49. The Kuwaiti Dinar is being traded at NPR 446.75, for buying and NPR 448.71 for selling. The Bahraini Dinar has a buying rate of NPR 362.40 and a selling rate of NPR 364.00. The Omani Riyal is being bought at NPR 354.97 and sold at NPR 356.53.
The buying rate for 100 Indian Rupees is NPR 160.00 and the selling rate is NPR 160.15. Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates are subject to change at any time as per necessity.
