KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the official foreign exchange rates for Wednesday. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at NPR 137.69 and the selling rate at NPR 138.29.

The buying rate for one Euro is NPR 159.29 and the selling rate is NPR 159.99. Similarly, the buying rate for one British Pound Sterling is NPR 186.75 and the selling rate is NPR 187.56. The buying rate for one Swiss Franc is NPR 169.46 and the selling rate is NPR 170.20.

The Australian Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 90.02 and a selling rate of NPR 90.41. The Canadian Dollar’s buying rate is NPR 101.52and the selling rate is NPR 101.96. The Singapore Dollar is being traded at NPR 107.48 for buying and NPR 107.95 for selling.

Likewise, the buying rate for 10 Japanese Yen is NPR 9.52 and the selling rate is NPR 9.56. One Chinese Yuan is being bought at NPR 19.17 and sold at NPR 19.25. The Saudi Arabian Riyal has a buying rate of NPR 36.70 and a selling rate of NPR 36.86, while the Qatari Riyal is being traded at NPR 37.78 for buying and NPR 37.94 for selling.

According to the central bank, one Thai Baht is being bought at NPR 4.23 and sold at NPR 4.25. The buying rate for one UAE Dirham is NPR 37.49 and the selling rate is NPR 37.65. The Malaysian Ringgit is set at NPR 32.43 for buying and NPR 32.57 for selling. The South Korean Won (per 100 units) is being traded at NPR 10.09 for buying and NPR 10.13 for selling. The Swedish Krona has a buying rate of NPR 14.57 and a selling rate of NPR 14.63, while the Danish Krone is being bought at NPR 21.36 and sold at NPR 21.45.

The Hong Kong Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 17.54 and a selling rate of NPR 17.62. The Kuwaiti Dinar is being traded at NPR 449.82 for buying and NPR 451.78 for selling. The Bahraini Dinar has a buying rate of NPR 365.18 and a selling rate of NPR 366.77. The Omani Riyal is being bought at NPR 357.61 and sold at NPR 359.17.

The buying rate for 100 Indian Rupees is NPR 160.00 and the selling rate is NPR 160.15. Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates are subject to change at any time as per necessity.
