KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the official foreign exchange rates for Thursday.
As per the latest update, the buying rate for the US dollar is set at Rs. 136.38, while the selling rate stands at Rs. 136.98. The euro is being exchanged at Rs. 155.40 for buying and Rs. 156.08 for selling.
Similarly, the British pound is trading at Rs. 181.41 for buying and Rs. 182.20 for selling, while the Swiss franc is valued at Rs. 165.58 for buying and Rs. 166.31 for selling.
The Australian dollar is priced at Rs. 87.37 for buying and Rs. 87.76 for selling. The Canadian dollar stands at Rs. 98.59 and Rs. 99.02, respectively. For the Singapore dollar, the buying rate is Rs. 104.00 and the selling rate is Rs. 104.46.
In the Asian currency segment, the rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs. 9.61 for buying and Rs. 9.65 for selling. The Chinese yuan is valued at Rs. 18.71 and Rs. 18.79, respectively.
The Saudi riyal stands at Rs. 36.36 for buying and Rs. 36.52 for selling, while the Qatari riyal is exchanged at Rs. 37.31 and Rs. 37.48.
The Thai baht is being bought at Rs. 4.09 and sold at Rs. 4.10. The UAE dirham is priced at Rs. 37.13 and Rs. 37.29, respectively. For the Malaysian ringgit, the rates are Rs. 31.06 for buying and Rs. 31.20 for selling. The exchange rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs. 9.59 for buying and Rs. 9.63 for selling.
As for European currencies, the Swedish kronor is set at Rs. 14.23 (buying) and Rs. 14.29 (selling), while the Danish kronor is at Rs. 20.82 and Rs. 20.91, respectively. The Hong Kong dollar is being traded at Rs. 17.58 for buying and Rs. 17.65 for selling.
In the Gulf region, the Kuwaiti dinar is valued at Rs. 445.31 for buying and Rs. 447.27 for selling. The Bahraini dinar stands at Rs. 361.83 and Rs. 363.42, while the Omani rial is being exchanged at Rs. 354.24 for buying and Rs. 355.80 for selling.
Similarly, the exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs. 160.00 for buying and Rs. 160.15 for selling.
