Nepal Rastra Bank sets today’s foreign currency exchange rates

KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign currency exchange rates for today (Monday). The exchange rates for currencies such as the US dollar and Bahraini dinar remain stable, while the rates for the Kuwaiti dinar and the euro have decreased. On the other hand, currencies like the Australian dollar and the pound have become more expensive.

Today, the buying rate for 1 US dollar is 136 rupees 30 paisa, and the selling rate is 136 rupees 90 paisa. The exchange rate for the US dollar remains unchanged from yesterday.

On Magh 25, the exchange rate for the US dollar was the highest seen so far in the Nepali market, with a buying rate of 139 rupees 83 paisa and a selling rate of 140 rupees 43 paisa.

For the euro, the buying rate today is 153 rupees 31 paisa, and the selling rate is 153 rupees 99 paisa. Yesterday, the buying rate was 153 rupees 39 paisa and the selling rate was 154 rupees 07 paisa.

The buying rate for 1 pound today is 181 rupees 35 paisa, and the selling rate is 182 rupees 15 paisa. Yesterday, the rates were 180 rupees 97 paisa for buying and 181 rupees 77 paisa for selling.

For the Australian dollar, the buying rate today is 87 rupees 40 paisa, and the selling rate is 87 rupees 78 paisa. Yesterday, the buying rate was 87 rupees 27 paisa and the selling rate was 87 rupees 66 paisa.

The buying rate for 1 Kuwaiti dinar is 444 rupees 30 paisa, and the selling rate is 446 rupees 26 paisa. Yesterday, the rates were 444 rupees 35 paisa for buying and 446 rupees 31 paisa for selling.

Lastly, the buying rate for 1 Bahraini dinar today is 361 rupees 52 paisa, and the selling rate is 363 rupees 11 paisa. The exchange rate for the Bahraini dinar remains unchanged from yesterday.
