NEPSE declines for fifth consecutive day

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has seen a continuous decline for the last five trading days. The continuously declining NEPSE index fell by 8.41 points today to settle at 2,611.85.

According to the NEPSE, 17.423 million shares of 320 companies were bought and sold 78,493 times, resulting in a turnover of Rs 7.833 billion. 348 million. 240.63. While the share prices of 82 companies increased today, 164 companies decreased while one remained stable.

Out of the 13 group indices traded today, four groups increased in value while the remaining eight groups decreased. While the hotel group index increased the most today, the development bank group index decreased the most.
