KATHMANDU: NEPSE fell by 5.57 points to settle at 2670 on the last trading day of the week (Thursday).
According to NEPSE, the share price of 113 companies increased, 131 companies decreased, and 1 remained unchanged. During the day’s trading, NEPSE reached a maximum of 2687 points. The index of A-class companies decreased by 0.04 percent.
The trading amount increased. The previous day’s turnover was 4.44 billion, but today it was 5.63 billion. Most sector indices decreased. Banking 0.09, Finance 0.49, Hotel and Tourism 0.41, Investment 0.29, Life Insurance 0.32, Manufacturing 0.87, Non-Life Insurance 0.20, Others 0.90, and Trade sector 0.11 percent. Microfinance 0.38, Hydropower 0.09, and Development Bank sector increased by 0.03 percent.
