NEPSE drops by 7.26 points today

KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has decreased by 7.26 points to 2678.47 points. As NEPSE decreased by 0.27 percent, the turnover also decreased.

According to NEPSE, 15.875 thousand 152 shares worth 7.92 billion 13 million rupees were traded. As NEPSE decreased, the price of 76 companies increased, while the share price of 162 companies decreased. The share price of 6 companies remained stable.

Similarly, when 302 companies came into trading, shares were bought and sold 78 thousand 835 times. Today, 3 out of 13 groups increased, while the remaining 10 groups decreased. The highest increase was in the finance group by 1.88 percent, while the lowest increase was in the microfinance group by 0.17 percent. The investment group increased by 0.52 percent.

Today, the highest increase was in the development bank group by 0.95 percent, while the lowest decrease was in the trading group by 0.01 percent.

Similarly, the commercial banking group decreased by 0.23 percent, hotels and tourism by 0.58 percent, hydropower by 0.90 percent, life insurance by 0.14 percent, production and processing by 0.47 percent, mutual funds by 0.08 percent, non-life insurance by 0.87 percent, and other groups by 0.10 percent.
