NEPSE drops by 9.96 points to settle at 2,688.32

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has dropped by 9.96 points. Today, the NEPSE index fell by 0.36 percent to settle at 2,688.32.

According to the NEPSE, 22.555 million shares of 319 companies were bought and sold 71,694 times, resulting in a transaction worth Rs 8.32 billion 12.82 million 188 thousand.

In today’s trading, the hotel and tourism group increased by 0.79 percent, the production and processing group by 1.18 percent, and the other group by 2.21 percent, while the sub-indices of all other groups decreased.

The share price of Nepal Microinsurance Company Limited has entered a positive circuit, while the share price of Corporate Development Bank Limited has entered a negative circuit.

Based on the transaction amount, the highest number of shares worth Rs 44.6 billion 37 million 946 were bought and sold today by Ngadi Group Power Limited. Based on the number of shares traded, 18 lakh 17 thousand 175 units of shares of NMB Sulabh Endowment Fund-2 were bought and sold.
