KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has increased by seven points to settle at 2,696.23 points.
According to NEPSE, 16,611,532 shares of 329 companies were bought and sold 64,360 times, with a turnover of Rs 7.26 billion 5122,241, according to NEPSE.
The sub-index of the finance group decreased by 0.67, the hotel and tourism group decreased by 0.16, investment decreased by 0.35, production and processing decreased by 0.16, microfinance decreased by 0.00, and the sub-index of other groups decreased by 1.07 percent. The sub-index of all other groups increased by 1.63 percent.
The hydropower group increased by 1.11 percent and the development bank group increased by 1.11 percent. Banking rose by 0.39, life insurance by 0.05, mutual funds by 0.36, non-life insurance by 0.55 and business groups by 0.11 percent.
In today’s trading, the share prices of Corporate Development Bank Limited and Balefi Hydropower Limited have entered a positive circuit. The share price of Gurans Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited has decreased by the most by 6.81 percent.
Based on the transaction amount and the number of shares traded, the highest number of shares worth 1950,806 shares of Ngadi Group Power Limited worth Rs 594,153,960 was bought and sold today.
