KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the foreign currency exchange rates for Friday.

According to the official figures, the buying rate for one US dollar is NPR 136.12, while the selling rate is NPR 136.72. Similarly, the euro is being bought at NPR 154.97 and sold at NPR 155.65.

The exchange rate for the British pound sterling stands at NPR 181.25 for buying and NPR 182.05 for selling. In the same way, the Swiss franc is valued at NPR 164.86 for buying and NPR 165.59 for selling.

The Australian dollar’s buying rate is set at NPR 86.89, while it is sold at NPR 87.28. The Canadian dollar is being bought at NPR 98.21 and sold at NPR 98.64. Likewise, the Singapore dollar is trading at NPR 103.79 for buying and NPR 104.25 for selling.

As per the central bank, 10 Japanese yen are being bought for NPR 9.56 and sold for NPR 9.60. One Chinese yuan is valued at NPR 18.67 for buying and NPR 18.76 for selling.

For Gulf currencies, the Saudi riyal is trading at NPR 36.29 (buying) and NPR 36.45 (selling), while the Qatari riyal is at NPR 37.35 and NPR 37.51, respectively.

The Thai baht is being bought at NPR 4.07 and sold at NPR 4.09. The UAE dirham stands at NPR 37.06 for buying and NPR 37.22 for selling, whereas the Malaysian ringgit is at NPR 31.13 and NPR 31.26.

The rate for 100 South Korean won is NPR 9.49 for buying and NPR 9.53 for selling. Meanwhile, the Swedish kronor is priced at NPR 14.19 (buying) and NPR 14.25 (selling), and the Danish kronor at NPR 20.76 and NPR 20.85.

Additionally, the Hong Kong dollar is being bought at NPR 17.54 and sold at NPR 17.62. The Kuwaiti dinar is trading at NPR 444.05 for buying and NPR 446.01 for selling. The Bahraini dinar’s exchange rate is NPR 361.12 (buying) and NPR 362.72 (selling), while the Omani rial is at NPR 353.54 and NPR 355.09.

Similarly, the exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.
