KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) Police Chief Rajunath Pandey has challenged his suspension by Chief Administrative Officer Saroj Guragain in the Patan High Court.
The suspension followed an incident on Chaitra 21, 2081 B.S. (April 3, 2025) when Pandey blocked Guragain’s entry to his office. Despite repeated requests from city officials, Pandey prevented access, prompting disciplinary action.
An inquiry committee is investigating the matter. The court will hear Pandey’s petition on Wednesday.
