KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has inquired about this year’s monsoon conditions.
On Tuesday, Prime Minister Oli visited the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology in Babarmahal to receive a briefing from experts regarding this year’s monsoon situation.
According to forecasts, the monsoon season this year is expected to last from Jestha 18 to Ashoj 14 (approximately early June to early October).
It is predicted that most parts of the country will experience above-average rainfall during this monsoon season.
Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation Minister Deepak Khadka also accompanied the Prime Minister to the Department to receive information about the weather forecast.
