KATHMANDU: The statement of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Ravi Lamichhane has been concluded in the Chitwan District Court.
In the bench of Judge Dayaram Dhakal has concluded his statement, and now his detention hearing will begin. Rabi Lamichhane, the defendant in the Sahara Chitwan Multipurpose Cooperative fraud case, appeared in court this morning for his statement. The statement, which began at 12:45 in the morning, lasted for 4 hours.
The lawyers who will argue on behalf of Ravi Lamichhane for the detention hearing have registered their names. Senior advocate Sushil Kumar Pant, advocates Subarna Sapkota, Narayan Dutt Kandel, Chudamani Sapkota, Ramchandra Devkota, and Sanjay Gole have registered their legal representation on behalf of Lamichhane.
Advocates Rajkumar Shrestha, Ramesh Kafle, Sunita Adhikari, and Shambhu Bartaula will argue on behalf of the cooperative victim.
District Attorney Ravi Neupane, along with government attorneys Buddha Bahadur Thapa and Amrit Subedi, will argue on behalf of the government attorney.
