KATHMANDU: RPP General Secretary and MP Dr. Dhawal Shamsher Rana appeared at the Kathmandu District Court on Monday.

His statement is being recorded before Judge Shiva Prasad Khanal. A detention-related order will follow after the hearing.

Rana was earlier released on bail after being charged with inciting violence during a pro-monarchy rally on Chaitra 15, 2081 B.S. (March 28, 2025).

Seven others, including Durga Prasai, are in pretrial custody.
