KATHMANDU: Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ held a meeting today with Bhagat Singh Koshiyari, a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Koshyari visited Prachanda at his residence in Khumaltar.

Koshiyari, a RSS veteran served as the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand from 2001 to 2002. He also served as the governor of Maharashtra from 2019 to 2023.

Last week, BJP’s Foreign Affairs Chief Vijay Chauthaiwale had visited Nepal and met separately with Prachanda, Prime Minister KP Oli, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, and leaders of most major political parties.

Chauthaiwale’s meetings have sparked various speculations in political circles.
