KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister of Nepal and Chairman of Nepal Samajwadi Party (Naya Shakti), Dr. Baburam Bhattarai held a meeting with senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Defence Minister of India, Rajnath Singh, today.

During the meeting, the two leaders engaged in a positive dialogue focused on further strengthening Nepal-India relations and elevating development and economic cooperation to new heights.

Dr. Bhattarai also expressed deep sorrow over the recent terrorist attack on civilians in Pahalgam, Kashmir, and strongly condemned the incident.

Dr. Bhattarai is currently on a visit to India to inaugurate the convention of the Progressive Nepali Society Committee, India.
