Nepali Ambassador Yadav to Australia presents credentials

KATHMANDU: Chitralekha Yadav, Nepal’s Ambassador to the Commonwealth of Australia, officially presented her Letters of Credence to Australia’s Governor-General, Sam Mostyn AC, in a formal ceremony held at the Government House in Canberra on Wednesday.

Following the ceremony, Ambassador Yadav paid a courtesy call on the Governor-General, extending warm greetings and best wishes from Nepal’s President, Ram Chandra Paudel. She also reiterated the invitation for the Governor-General to visit Nepal.

During their meeting, both parties exchanged views on various aspects of Nepal-Australia bilateral relations, which are strengthened by mutual understanding, trust, and cooperation, and enhanced by growing people-to-people ties.

The credential ceremony was attended by senior Australian government officials and staff from the Embassy of Nepal.
