Kripa Poudel, the winner of the first season of 'Saregamapa Little Champs Nepal' has been given a grand welcome in Jhapa today.
She was given a grand welcome by the district residents at Bhadrapur Airport. She returned home for the first time today after becoming the winner. Hundreds of writers, representatives of various organizations, and relatives lined up for her welcome at the airport.
She has been taken to Birtamod, her hometown, which is 17 km away from the airport, in a musical convoy. A 'Kripa Jitau Abhiyan' ('Make Kripa Win' campaign) was launched in the district under the chairmanship of Nagendra Sangraula to help Poudel win. The campaign has also organized an honor program at Jhapa Natak Ghar in Birtamod today, said Bhima Sivakoti, a member of the committee and chairperson of Nari Sanchargriha.
