KATHMANDU: One of the evergreen songs, “Achha Lekin Londonko Chisole Samaula,” which once captivated audiences in Daiba Sanjog, is making a comeback!
This time, it will feature in the much-awaited movie Narasimha: Avatar, set to release on Chaitra 29 (April 11, 2025).
Singer Rachana Rimal will lend her voice, alongside renowned singer-composer Shambhujit Baskota, who will perform this classic in a fresh tone.
Shot at Jarsingh Pauwa over four days, with scenes captured against the majestic backdrop of the Himalayas, the video’s breathtaking setting is complemented by major set constructions, creating a grand, almost cinematic musical experience.
Rajesh Hamal, Saroj Khanal, Raj Katuwal, Niti Shah, Usha Khadgi, and Sanisha Bhattarai – an unstoppable powerhouse cast – will unleash their energy and charisma on the dance floor.
Choreographed by one of the finest choreographers in the country, Kabiraj Gahatraj, this sequence promises a visually unique experience.
Despite fierce winds and dust during filming, the team was enthusiastic. Rajesh Hamal mentioned that this song reminded him of the past and filled him with nostalgia, and he is confident fans will embrace it with the same love they did in those days.
Interestingly, both Hamal and Raj Katuwal will appear in strong ‘colonel’ avatars, adding a new dimension to the video.
One of the film’s biggest highlights is the reunion of Rajesh Hamal and Saroj Khanal, who come together for the first time in 32 years. Their on-screen chemistry was a delight to witness while speaking with the media.
The video also features a massive 100 background dancers, along with a sea of onlookers, creating an electric atmosphere. Narasimha: Avatar promises to deliver an unparalleled experience, with high-voltage action and an enchanting love story.
Actor Raj Katuwal admitted feeling a bit nervous about dancing alongside Rajesh Hamal, but soon found his rhythm, turning the experience into a lifelong memory.
Additionally, the film will introduce a fresh face to the Nepali screen—former Miss Nepal Usha Khadgi, who brings charisma and elegance to the role.
This film is all the more special as it marks Rajesh Hamal’s long-awaited return to the silver screen after eight years! Fans are eager to witness their favorite superstar shine once again, and this film is sure to do justice to that.
With just the right amount of nostalgia, glamour, and cinematic finesse, Narasimha: Avatar is already gearing up to be a must-watch. History, dance, and drama like never before!
