KATHMANDU: Actress Richa Ghimire has been appointed as the brand ambassador for Code Mantra, a U.S. based educational company. With this appointment, she becomes the first Nepali artist to officially represent a company in the United States as a brand ambassador.

While many Nepali artists endorse various brands in Nepal, none had previously signed a formal agreement with an international company while residing in the U.S. Code Mantra is a progressive company focused on empowering the next generation through subjects such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), coding, robotics, mathematics, and machine learning.

According to the company, Richa was chosen as the brand ambassador because her vision aligns with its mission of preparing children for the future in the world of technology. Earlier this week, Code Mantra’s CEO Bhuwan Rijal, CTO Sujan Rijal, and product advisor Salom Bhatt officially signed her during a special event.

“This is not just a brand partnership,” Richa said. “We are now living in a global village. Collaborations like this will open new doors of opportunity for artists around the world.” Recently, Richa made a comeback in the Nepali film industry by producing and starring in the film Tel Visa.
