KATHMANDU: Dayahang Rai starrer ‘Karsang’ has earned NPR 16.3 million in the first 21 days since its release on Poush 26 (January 11, 2024).

According to sources close to the film, it made NPR 16.3 million during this period. Produced on a budget of NPR 12 million, the movie has also grossed NPR 11.5 million from the overseas market. Additionally, its digital rights were sold for NPR 3 million.

Directed by Yam Sherpa, ‘Karsang’ features Dayahang Rai, Srijana Ninglekhu, Jitu Nepal, Diya Maske, Buddhi Tamang, Srishti Gautam, Doma Hyolmo, Prem Lopchan, and Surbir Pandit in key roles.

Presented by Yarsa Films and Purushottam Pradhan Films, the film has been produced by Purushottam Pradhan, who also handled the cinematography.

The co-producer is Govinda Bohara, while the executive producer is Ang Chhiring Sherpa.
