KATHMANDU: This week, police officers in Kathmandu and Pokhara took a break from their regular duties and visited movie theaters to enjoy the Nepali film Pitambar. Wearing their uniforms, the officers became part of the audience instead of handling security. In Pokhara, 15 police officers, including two inspectors, watched the movie at Midtown Gallery Cinema and were said to have enjoyed the story and the action scenes. In Kathmandu, more officers showed up at different theaters to watch the film starring Krisha Chaulagain. Five officers watched it at QFX in Rising Mall, another five at Chhaya Center, 25 at Civil Mall, and 10 at Big Movies.

According to the filmmakers, the officers came to the theater to relax and refresh themselves from their daily stress. The movie Pitambar is currently showing in cinemas across Nepal. Meanwhile, the film’s promotion team, including lead actor Pradeep Khadka, has traveled to the Far-Western region of Nepal.

After promoting the film in Dhangadhi, they reached Nepalgunj to continue their campaign. The team plans to meet and interact with audiences at Bageshwori Cinema and Cine Royal. Alongside Pradeep, actors Anup Bikram Shahi, Divyadev Pant, producer Bishal Chaulagain, and director Krisha Chaulagain are also taking part in the promotional events.
