The 67th Annual Grammy Awards, music’s biggest night, took center stage in Los Angeles on Monday morning, according to Nepali time—and what a night it was!
Kendrick Lamar stole the show, taking home a staggering five awards for his hit “Not Like Us”.
He won Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Rap Song, Best Rap Performance, and Best Music Video, defeating big names in the Record of the Year category, including The Beatles, Beyoncé, Charli XCX, Billie Eilish, Sabrina Carpenter, Taylor Swift, and Chappell Roan.
Beyoncé made history once again! With 11 nominations, she claimed three awards, including the highly coveted Album of the Year for “Cowboy Carter”.
This victory makes her the first Black woman since 1999 to win in this category—a moment that will be etched in the hearts of music lovers everywhere!
Women dominated many of the top nominations at the event, held at the Crypto Arena in downtown Los Angeles, though only Beyoncé emerged with a major win.
Despite this, the night was filled with electrifying performances and unforgettable moments.
