KATHMANDU: The song ‘Khai Ta Mayale Kura Bujheko’ has been released, featuring vocals by Sharmila Bardewa and Pramod Sharma, both based in London. The duo, known for enchanting audiences across European cities, has earned appreciation from both Nepali and foreign listeners.
Pramod, son of late veteran musician Hutaraj Sharma, remarked that foreign audiences often invite them again after a single performance. Bardewa, active in the music field for over 30 years, comes from a musically inclined family.
The song features lyrics by Dinesh Raj Puri, music arrangement by Rajendra Bajgai, mixing/mastering by Manoj Pariyar, and recording by Kiran Singh Thapa. Instrumentalists include Ratna Bk on flute, Pushkar Khadka on guitar, and Bal Bahadur Jairu on shehnai.
The music video stars Sudhir Shrestha, Bina Rawat, and Kabita Tolangi, with direction and choreography by Siyon Shrestha. The song is now available on the Music Nepal YouTube channel.
