‘Laaj Sharanam’ Marks 51st Day of Successful Run in Multiple Theaters

KATHMANDU: Nepali film ‘Laaj Sharanam’ has been going strong at cinemas for 51 days ever since it released on February 26 on Shivaratri day. The film continues to be doing well with decent viewing strength even after staying at cinemas for weeks.

According to producer Naveen Shrestha, Laaj Sharanam celebrated its 51st day of screening in several major theaters, including:

• Kathmandu Valley: QFX Cinemas, INI Cinemas, Fcube Cinemas, Kirtipur Cineplex, BSR Movies, Ranjana Cineplex, and Big Movies.
• Outside the Valley: QFX in Birtamod (Jhapa), Dimax Cinemas in Damak, and INI Cinemas in Butwal.

The movie had a strong opening, collecting NPR 11 million (1.1 crore) on the first day, and has now grossed over NPR 50 million (5 crore), as per the production team. Laaj Sharanam stars popular actors like Sitaram Kattel, Vijay Baral, Arjun Ghimire, Sagar Lamsal, Harish Niraula, Mahesh Tripathi, and Arpan Thapa. Karnali region. Sudeep Baral was the camera person, with Naveen Shrestha producing the film and Ram Naresh Shah and Srijana Khadka co-producers.
The success of the film over a period of time says much about the film’s powerful storyline, realistic characters, and successful message.
