Filmmakers and journalists in attendance hailed it as the best Nepali horror movie ever made, setting high expectations for its box-office debut.

Nepali horror films have often struggled to genuinely frighten audiences, instead veering into the realm of unintentional comedy. However, Mummy is different.

The film has been praised for its ability to create spine-chilling atmospheres and deliver unmatched storytelling, making it poised for a strong opening.

The premiere itself was nothing short of a dazzling event, with lead stars Priyanka Karki, Sulakshan Bharati, and Diya Maskey stealing the spotlight.

Top industry figures graced the red carpet, including director Gyanendra Deuja, Deepashree Niraula, Nawal Nepal, producer Chhabiraj Ojha, actress Keki Adhikari, actors Salinman Baniya and Salon Basnet, and former Miss Nepal & actress Namrata Shrestha.

Adding to the eerie atmosphere, young girls in sky-blue dresses, stained with blood, performed a chilling act that sent shivers down the spines of onlookers.

Directed by Samar Niraula, Mummy has already been praised for its perfect execution. Produced by Lokraj Joshi and Purnima Joshi, with Samar Niraula and Purnima Joshi penning the script, the film is backed by So Twenty-Five Productions.

The technical team includes Nishal Paudel and Sharad Mahato on cinematography and Suren Maharjan handling the editing.
