New Poster of Nepali Thriller “Khel” Released, Promises Mystery and Suspense

KATHMANDU:  The second poster of the much-awaited Nepali film ‘Khel’ has been released, creating buzz and curiosity among audiences. Released on Tuesday, the poster spills an atmosphere of suspense and terror, setting the tone for the thriller. Releasing on Baisakh 12, the movie poster includes the lead actors, Suresh Panta, Monica Thapa, Hena Nagarhoti, Nikita Acharya, Samapika Gautam, Mithila Sharma, Sarita Giri, and Bholaraj Sapkota.

Designed by Royal Bhimsain, the poster features dark blue and black shades throughout, providing the haunting atmosphere. In the front, we see schoolchildren, with haunting eyes in the background, highlighting the hauntingly spooky environment. The appearance of a moon merely enhances the mysterious theme. Actress Suresh Panta, wearing headphones, is given substantial prominence, thus signifying her importance in the film. The title ‘Khel’ is uniquely styled based on the intriguing atmosphere of the film.

Directed by Aastha Shrestha and Anurag Pradhan, ‘Khel’ is a mix of Nepali spirituality, tradition, folklore, suspense, and thriller. The film revolves around four friends who reside in a hostel at Kathmandu, whose past is filled with horrific incidents. The film also features Kiran Shrestha, Bhavna Ghimire, Suhani Khadka Chhetri, among others.

Directed by Siru Pate Cuts Pvt. Ltd., the movie is based on the script of Aasish Raj Maharjan, whose script has been adapted by Abhitendra and Anurag Pradhan with dialogues by Vishnu Gaire. Roshan Rai and Sanjay Lama are handling camera work and cinematography, while Aasish Raj Maharjan handles editing. DCN will be handling the distribution of the movie.
