KATHMANDU: Bollywood’s own master of high-octane, masala-filled, action flicks, Rohit Shetty, continues to ride the wave in the industry. His ability to blend comedy with action has made his movies a huge hit among the audience. While sequels or franchises don’t always bring huge box-office numbers, Shetty’s Golmaal and Singham sequels have shattered records and turned into cult classics. Shetty is also set to collaborate with actor John Abraham for an upcoming project.

The director recently gave an interview to Dainik Jagran, where he laid out his vision for the Cop Universe, declaring that sequels to two of his blockbuster films, Simmba and Sooryavanshi, are in the works. “Part 2 of Simmba and the sequel to Sooryavanshi are on their way. There are additional films to be shot in the Cop Universe,” Shetty confirmed.

Shetty’s Singham Again came out last year with a star-studded cast including Deepika Padukone, Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor, providing yet another action-packed experience to the audience. Hype for Shetty’s upcoming projects keeps building, with fans expecting more action-packed stories to come.
