KATHMANDU: After the tragic terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, Salman Khan has decided to postpone the highly anticipated ‘Bollywood Big One Show’ tour in the UK. The show, which was set to feature top Bollywood stars, was scheduled for May 4 and 5 in Manchester and London.
Taking to Instagram, Salman announced the postponement, stating that the tour planned for next month would no longer take place. He expressed his sincere apologies to his fans and assured them that new dates for the show would be announced soon.
In his message, Salman wrote, “In light of the recent tragic events in Kashmir, and with great sorrow, we’ve made the difficult decision to request the promoters to postpone the ‘Bollywood Big One Show.’”
Salman further explained, “We understand how eagerly our fans were looking forward to these performances, but we believe it is best not to proceed during this time of mourning.”
He concluded, “We sincerely apologize for any disappointment or inconvenience this may cause, and we deeply appreciate your understanding and support. The new dates for the event will be announced shortly.”
Last week, a terrorist attack in Kashmir’s tourist hotspot of Pahalgam claimed the lives of 27 people, including a Nepali citizen. The attack has led to heightened tensions between India and Pakistan. In response, India has halted the release of the Pakistani actor Fawad Khan’s film Abir Gulal, while renowned artists such as Arijit Singh have also postponed their musical tours.
