KATHMANDU: Suhana Khan is finally stepping into the spotlight with her debut film King, and she’s not alone—her superstar father Shah Rukh Khan will be sharing the screen with her! But the surprises don’t end there. Buzz is, Deepika Padukone might also be joining the cast in a very special role.

According to a report, Deepika is being considered to play Suhana’s mother in the film. While it’s expected to be an extended cameo, fans are already excited about seeing this powerhouse trio together. King is being produced by Siddharth Anand, the hitmaker behind blockbusters like Pathaan and War raising expectations even higher.

While Deepika hasn’t confirmed when she’ll start shooting, reports suggest both Shah Rukh and Siddharth are keen on her taking the role. Interestingly, Deepika has taken on motherly roles in several films recently including Jawan, Kalki, and Brahmastra.

The fun is doubled when Deepika Padukone too became a real-life mother in September 2024, to daughter Dua. From that dramatic entry along with SRK in Om Shanti Om to their on-screen jodis that are just iconic in Chennai Express and Pathaan, people cannot wait for them to collaborate once again for King!
