KATHMANDU: A grand historical film with Nepal’s biggest stars is in the pipeline, to be filmed in both Nepali and Hindi languages. The production has been underway for over a year, according to off-the-record sources, with the purpose of showcasing Nepal’s glorious history on the screen.

Award-winning G.B. Agri will be directing the movie, and another Indian director will also be on board. Additionally, six assistant directors will also be part of the movie to make it huge and life-like.

The film will trace Nepal’s history, focusing on kings’ and emperors’ wars, painting a powerful tale of war, strategy, and legacy. The film is going to be made in three parts, with the first two parts featuring the finest actors, and the third film gathering all the stars of the previous parts together for a spectacular finale.

The film boasts of a galaxy of star-studded artists, including veteran actors Rajesh Hamal, Bhuwan KC, Dayahang Rai, Saugat Malla, Anmol KC, Dhiraj Magar, and Sushil Shrestha. The heroines include Rekha Thapa, Miruna Magar, Aanchal Sharma, Bipana Thapa, among others.

Though the formal date for the beginning of shooting is yet to be released, the crew is determined to make this a cinematic masterpiece, where Nepal’s glorious past would be presented in ways never seen before!
