Dr. Sheshraj Ghimire, head of the Safe Workplace Struggle Committee for Health Workers, said the protest aimed to oppose quality compromises in medical education. “You can’t increase fees and seats just to justify allowance hikes,” Dr. Ghimire said, emphasizing that the task force’s proposal undermines educational standards.
