Court extends remand of 20, including RPP leaders Mishra and Rana for 15 days

KATHMANDU: The remand of 20 people, including Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Senior Vice President Rabindra Mishra, General Secretary and MP Dhawal Shumsher Rana, has been extended by 15 days.

The Kathmandu District Court has granted permission to keep 20 people, including them, in custody for another 15 days. They have been charged with crimes against the state and organized crime.

Similarly, the remand of those charged with criminal mischief and organized crime has been extended by 15 days. The police have so far arrested 73 people during the violent protests in Tinkune.

Two people were killed in the protests on Chaitra 15 by the royalist group.
