LUMBINI: Prakash Man Singh, the Minister for Urban Development, emphasized the importance of empowering all three levels of government to implement federalism effectively.
He stated that laws are being created to grant federal, provincial, and local governments the rights outlined in the constitution.
Minister Singh made these remarks during the main celebration of Butwal Sub-metropolitan City’s 66th establishment day.
He reminded the audience that the current government was formed by the two major parties, the Nepali Congress and the UML, to ensure political stability.
He highlighted that the government is actively working to address public despair, saying, “The government is not here just for the exercise of power, but for ensuring political stability and fostering economic prosperity. Our focus is on economic progress.”
Singh further argued that true economic development cannot be achieved unless the country attains political stability.
