Jajarkot hit by 4.1 magnitude earthquake

KATHMANDU: Recent days have seen frequent earthquakes in various parts of Jajarkot district. The National Seismological Center reported a 4.1 magnitude earthquake at 9:31 PM on Monday, with Paink in Jajarkot as its epicenter.

So far, there have been no reports of damage from the earthquake, which originated in Paink, located within Kushe Rural Municipality.

The Center also noted that two other earthquakes occurred in the same region on the evening of April 3. The first had a magnitude of 5.2, followed by a 5.5 magnitude quake. Some houses experienced minor damage due to these tremors.

Additionally, a 4.0 magnitude earthquake struck Darchula on Chaitra 20, and a 4.5 magnitude earthquake was recorded on Chaitra 12 (March 25), as per the Seismological Center.
