Two people were killed and seven others were injured when a passenger jeep traveling from Darchula to Dhangadhi met with an accident at Zorayal Rural Municipality-1 Khadina.

According to District Police Office Deputy Superintendent of Police Bhimalal Bhattarai, 40-year-old Dhaulidevi Dhami of Paitoli died on the spot during the treatment of a three-year-old girl, Ritika Parki, in the accident that occurred this morning.

Others injured in the accident are being treated at the local hospital.
