A young man who was injured when two motorcycles collided head-on on the Jaleshwor-Matihani road in Mahottari district has died this morning while undergoing treatment. The deceased has been identified as Farman Kawari, 22, of Kolhuwa village in Ekadara Gaonpalika-6 of the district, said Prakash Bista, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Mahottari.

Anbarul Raine, 22, of Musaharnia Gaonpalika-3, Mukhiyapatti of Dhanusha District and Farman Raine, 22, of Ekdara-6 of Mahottari District were riding in the back of the motorcycle. The driver Shambhu Sah, 33, of Jaleshwor Municipality-7 had collided head-on with a motorcycle (BR 06 B 7021) in Matihani Municipality-9.

Farman, who was riding a motorcycle after the accident, died at 3 in the morning while undergoing treatment at the Provincial Hospital, Janakpur.
