KATHMANDU: The body of Sudip Neupane, a 27-year-old resident of Butwal Sub-metropolitan City Ward No. 11, who was killed in a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir, India, has arrived in his hometown on Thursday morning.
Sudip had only recently left for India on a short trip with his family. He was accompanied by his mother, sister, and brother-in-law when the tragic incident occurred. The group had reached Kashmir just four days ago, having departed from Nepal on Saturday.

According to Dadhiram Neupane, Ward Chairperson of Butwal-14, the body was first flown from New Delhi to Lucknow, and then transported to Butwal by ambulance. Preparations are currently underway to perform Sudip’s final rites later today. Grieving family members and local residents have gathered in Butwal to pay their last respects.
